Job Description

Interior Project Manager

The Interior Project Manager will be responsible for:

  • Managing multiple interior construction projects simultaneously through all phases of delivery.
  • Serving as the primary point of contact for clients, consultants, and project stakeholders.
  • Leading projects from preconstruction planning through final completion and turnover.
  • Coordinating scheduling, budgeting, procurement, and project execution activities.
  • Facilitating Owner-Architect-Contractor (OAC) meetings and maintaining project communication.
  • Reviewing, negotiating, and approving change orders throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Overseeing projects ranging from $100K to $5M, with a typical value of $300K to $2M.
  • Partnering closely with dedicated Assistant Project Managers and Project Accountants.
  • Collaborating with internal estimating and operations teams to ensure project success.
  • Utilizing Procore and Microsoft Office to manage documentation, reporting, and project controls.
  • Ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to client expectations.
  • Maintaining strong relationships with repeat clients in the healthcare and commercial sectors.

A successful Interior Project Manager should have:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a Project Manager within commercial construction.
  • Proven experience managing office, corporate interiors, healthcare, or medical fit-out projects.
  • Demonstrated success running multiple projects concurrently at different stages.
  • Experience leading projects from conception through closeout.
  • Strong client-facing communication and relationship management skills.
  • Experience conducting OAC meetings and coordinating project stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage project budgets, schedules, and change orders.
  • Knowledge of commercial interior construction projects valued between $100K and $5M.
  • Proficiency with Procore and Microsoft Office.
  • Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
