Job Description
Project ManagerOur client is a respected commercial contractor with a strong history of delivering educational, religious, and community-focused construction projects throughout the Southeast. Known for their commitment to integrity, craftsmanship, and client service, they have built lasting relationships by consistently delivering high-quality facilities that make a meaningful impact on the communities they serve.Job DescriptionManage all phases of ground-up church and K-12 construction projects from preconstruction through final turnover
Develop and maintain project budgets, schedules, forecasts, and cost controls
Lead subcontractor procurement, contract administration, and buyout activities
Coordinate with owners, school administrators, church leadership, architects, engineers, and consultants
Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, and project documentation
Monitor project performance and proactively address budget, schedule, and quality concerns
Facilitate client meetings and maintain strong stakeholder relationships throughout the project lifecycle
Partner with Superintendents to ensure efficient field execution and project coordination
Ensure compliance with contractual requirements, safety standards, and quality expectations
Prepare project reports, forecasts, and financial updates for internal and external stakeholders

Proven experience managing ground-up K-12 education, church, or entertainment construction projects
Strong understanding of project scheduling, budgeting, forecasting, and cost control
Experience managing subcontractor relationships, contracts, and change orders
Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and contracts
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
