About Our Client

Our client is a respected general contractor with a long history of delivering K-12 schools, higher education facilities, municipal buildings, fire stations, libraries, and public-sector projects across the Chicagoland area.

Job Description

Manage education and municipal projects through all phases. Oversee budgeting, scheduling, procurement, and contract administration. Lead owner meetings and coordinate with public agencies. Review RFIs, submittals, change orders, and bid packages. Monitor project costs and forecast financial performance. Manage consultant, architect, and subcontractor relationships. Ensure compliance with public bidding and documentation requirements. Support business development and repeat client relationships.

The Successful Applicant

7+ years of experience as a project manager with a general contractor. Experience on K-12, higher education, municipal, or public-sector projects. Strong understanding of public procurement and construction processes. Proven ability to manage projects valued at $15M-$100M+. Bachelor's degree preferred, but not required.
