Job Description
Construction Project Manager
The Construction Project Manager will be responsible for:
- Provide project leadership and establish, implement and support a proactive project safety culture
- Manage the development and review of bid packages to procure competitive subcontract proposals
- Manage job-site subcontractor meetings to ensure that the project goals are met
- Review monthly invoices and oversees documentation and approval needed to ensure timely funding for the project
- Lead the management of cost reporting including but not limited to contracts, purchase orders, and scope revisions to achieve defined project goals
- Ensure overall financial health of the project and project forecasts
- Represent our client in the subcontract negotiations
- Develop and maintain detailed project schedules, ensuring milestones and deadlines are met
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, and consultants throughout all project phases
- Oversee project startup, execution, and closeout processes
- Monitor jobsite activities to ensure compliance with plans, specifications, and safety standards
- Identify and mitigate project risks, delays, and cost overruns
- Manage RFIs, submittals, and change orders throughout the project lifecycle
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and vendors
- Ensure quality control standards are consistently met on all projects
- Lead internal project team meetings and provide clear direction to field staff
- Track and manage procurement of materials and long-lead items
- Resolve field issues and conflicts in a proactive and timely manner
- Prepare and present project status updates to senior leadership
- Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations
- Support business development efforts through client interaction and repeat work opportunities
- Drive continuous improvement in project delivery processes and best practices

The Construction Project Manager will have:
- 5+ years of progressive experience in construction project management, with a proven track record of successfully delivering projects
- Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and building systems
- Experience with healthcare, life sciences, or medical office building (MOB) projects preferred, including knowledge of ICRA protocols
- Demonstrated ability to read, interpret, and analyze complex construction documents, including drawings and specifications
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across all project stakeholders
- Proficiency in construction management software (Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project, etc.) is a plus
- Solid understanding of project financials, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control
- Ability to manage multiple projects or priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Knowledge of local building codes, permitting processes, and safety regulations
- Experience coordinating with field teams, superintendents, and subcontractors
- Familiarity with contract management and subcontractor agreements
- High level of organization, accountability, and leadership capability
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment
The Construction Project Manager will be offered:
- A competitive base salary between $120,000-$140,000 (Depending on Experience)
