Our client is a highly respected luxury residential General Contractor specializing in custom renovations and high-end residential construction throughout Brooklyn and New York City. Their portfolio includes landmark brownstone restorations, townhouse gut renovations, architect-driven residences, and custom homes featuring premium finishes, intricate millwork, and exceptional attention to detail.
Job Description
As a Project Manager- Construction- Brooklyn, you will be responsible for:
- Managing high-end residential renovation projects from preconstruction through closeout
- Developing and maintaining project budgets, schedules, and forecasts
- Coordinating architects, interior designers, engineers, consultants, and subcontractors
- Managing procurement, contracts, and subcontractor buyouts
- Reviewing and processing RFIs, submittals, and change orders
- Overseeing custom millwork, cabinetry, stone, metal, and specialty finish packages
- Leading client meetings and providing regular project updates
- Monitoring project costs and maintaining financial controls
- Working closely with Superintendents to ensure successful field execution
- Managing project documentation and reporting requirements
- Identifying project risks and implementing proactive solutions
- Ensuring all work meets project specifications and client expectations
- Overseeing project closeout and final turnover

The Successful Applicant
The successful candidate will have:
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field preferred
- 5+ years of Project Management experience in residential construction
- Extensive experience managing luxury residential renovations or custom homes
- Proven experience with brownstones, townhouses, custom residences, or high-end interior renovations
- Strong understanding of custom millwork, cabinetry, stone, and specialty finishes
- Experience working directly with homeowners, architects, and interior designers
- Strong budgeting, scheduling, and cost control experience
- Ability to read and interpret architectural and construction drawings
- Proficiency with Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project, and Microsoft Office
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
