Project Manager

Location: Columbus, GA

Travel: Travel to project sites in Georgia and Alabama as needed

Compensation: $40,000 to $45,000 per year (depending on experience) + Bonus

MMC Contracting specializes in renovating and remodeling commercial and industrial facilities across Georgia and Alabama, with a reputation for clear communication, quality work, and on-time project delivery. We are looking for a Project Manager to oversee projects from planning through to closeout.

Your Role

As a Project Manager, you will manage commercial projects from start to finish, including subcontracts, schedules, stakeholder communication, submittals, and project closeout. Experience in government or educational projects (such as schools, colleges, or public domain work) is a plus, but not required.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead project planning, scheduling, and subcontractor coordination
• Manage contracts, RFIs, submittals, and change orders
• Track project budgets, job costs, and provide support for progress billing
• Oversee project closeout, including punch lists, O&M manuals, warranties, and turnover documentation
• Communicate professionally with owners and stakeholders
• Maintain thorough documentation using Excel and other standard office tools

Qualifications

• Commercial construction Project Management experience (remodel/renovation preferred)
• Strong discipline in project closeout and documentation
• Bachelor's in Construction Management or Business preferred; PMP certification is a plus
• Valid driver's license required
• Strong organizational, follow-through, and problem-solving skills
• Familiarity with Buildertrend, CoConstruct, Procore, or other comparable platforms is highly preferred

Compensation and Benefits

• Full-time, W-2 Employment
• Base Salary: $40,000 to $45,000 per year, depending on experience
• Bonus structure in addition to base salary
