--- Project Description ---Data Managemet and others.The agency operates a network of clinics, hospitals, and outpatient facilities. Thecandidate will be responsible for managing projects involving the update and/orimplementation of new systems, software, hardware, and data management. A keyfocus will be leading the Electronic Health Record (EHR) project, a high-priorityinitiative for OMH that demands strong project management leadership.

--- Day-to-Day Tasks ---

1. Use project management tools, such as Microsoft Word, Excel, Project and Visioto delegate staff assignments, track project status and determine time estimates.
2. Use project management methodology and documentation to manage the project,maintain project plans, and facilitate all required project and technical meetingsincluding demonstrations of application development progress.
3. Provide regular status reports detailing project metrics, progress, and mitigationstrategies underway to address concerns. These reports are to be provided to theDepartment of Budget, OMH, and other inter-office agencies as requested.
4. Partner with Business Analyst to ensure the business requirements are elicitedfrom Business owners and key stakeholders.
5. Ensure requirements are communicated, documented, addressed and if approved,included in future project plans.
6. Coordinate the development of test plans and testing with the Project TechnicalLead.
7. Act as facilitator and primary project manager for multiple projects related to theOMH Business efforts; including projects related to implementation of applicationsor infrastructure changes. Report status of current tasks and outstanding issues tosupervisor.
8. Adhere to all NYS Project Management directives and processes.

--- Required Qualifications ---" 84 Months Experience managing projects from initiation through closeoutmaintaining project budgets, schedules, scope requirements, status reports,communication plans, and quality standards" 84 Months Experience as a project manager working as a liaison betweenRequesting Entity (i.e. Government Agency or Private Company) and Vendorsfrom requirements gathering through implementation." 60 Months Experience working on projects that require working witharchitecture and infrastructure team to comprehend technical requirementsfor integration of central server and facility systems and related networking" Project Management Professional Certification" 48 Months Project Management experience leading projects with directstakeholder involvement at state government director level and above." 36 Months Experience managing AI-related projects including engaging withvendors such as Amazon and Google" 36 Months Experience managing projects with Application ProgrammingInterfaces (API), and other interfaces that send and receive data betweensystems" 24 Months Experience facilitating requirement sessions, to ensurerequirements are understood, conveyed and met" Bachelor s Degree
