Job Description

Are you a self-motivated, difference maker with a growth mindset? If you answered yes, then we’re excited to hear from you.

We’re looking to add a Project Manager to join our growing EVSE team of here at PEC (Pacific Energy Concepts), but, before we dive into the nitty-gritty, we’d love to tell you a bit about us.

We’ve been around for 17 years and are an innovative, growing company that’s making a significant, industry-wide impact. Our core values- Build to Last, Do the Right Thing, Play to Win, and Push the Envelope, aren’t the typical empty talking points you’ll find floating around, they’re fundamental to the people we are and the people we hire.

We’re North America’s most innovative energy optimization company. We deliver customized energy-efficiency solutions (like EV Charging Stations, LED Lighting, advanced controls, and Energy Monitoring) that go beyond energy savings, helping our partners "run efficient, save money, and work happy" all while reducing their carbon footprint. This is why brands like Costco, IKEA, Jeld-Wen and Alaska Airlines (to name a few of the 5000+ companies we work with) put their trust in us.

The Job

This role leads turnkey electric vehicle charging infrastructure projects from pre-construction through closeout, with full ownership of scheduling, material management, field coordination, and client communication. This role requires strong problem-solving skills, technical aptitude for EV charging systems, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

The Project Manager- EVSE role requires regular travel (25-40%) to support critical milestones, site conditions, and field execution needs. When not traveling, this position will be based in-person in our Vancouver, WA office.

This position has a hiring range of $92,000 - $135,000. This range reflects the full compensation range across the Project Manager- EVSE role. Final offer will be determined based on role level, experience, skills, and qualifications.

Core Functions:

  • Manage a portfolio of concurrent EVSE installation projects across commercial, fleet, multifamily, and municipal site types, with full ownership of scope, timeline, budget, and customer satisfaction.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, maintaining clear communication, setting expectations, and driving projects from kickoff through closeout.
  • Lead on-site execution for critical milestones including inspections, commissioning, and closeout, resolving scope changes, logistics challenges, and site-specific constraints as they arise.
  • Develop and manage bills of materials (BOMs), partnering with the Procurement team on vendor coordination, shipping logistics, and material staging.
  • Coordinate with internal teams on utility incentive and rebate program requirements, ensuring accurate documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Conduct post-installation site verification and compliance walkthroughs with utility representatives and program partners to confirm project performance and support incentive qualification.
  • Deliver complete closeout packages including photo documentation, as-built records, and commissioning results.
