Project Manager
Peterson Builders is a luxury custom homebuilder in Northern Utah, proudly serving the Ogden Valley for nearly 50 years. The Project Manager leads the successful delivery of luxury estate construction projects by prioritizing client satisfaction, maintaining project profitability, and upholding high standards across every job site. This role oversees Site Managers, ensures adherence to plans and specifications, and maintains accountability for quality, cleanliness, and overall site performance. As the primary client contact, the Project Manager directs the construction process from start to finish to ensure each project is built to the company's expectations.

Works with: Director of Construction and Site Manager(s)
Bottom Line: The Project Manager owns the successful delivery of the project by stewarding the client relationship, protecting profitability, and ensuring the luxury estate home is built according to plans, specifications, and company standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborating with the project team (Project Manager, Assistant(s) & Project Developer & Site Managers & others)
- Communicating with the client on all aspects of the project
- Collect specifications for detailed bid instructions to give to estimating
- Initial creation of critical path construction schedule and bidding with sales
- Managing project budget and reports
- Maintaining project margins
- Facilitating monthly budget meetings with the clients
- Documenting conversations with the clients
- Creating and communicating change orders with clients
- Developing, redlining and updating client plans and specifications
- Overseeing permitting
- Collaborating with warranty manager to facilitate transition from production to warranty
- And other responsibilities as assigned by management
Required Skills and Abilities:
- At least 5+ years of related custom residential building management
- Knowledge of construction software. Ressio experience/knowledge a plus
- Strong set of personal and business values that complement PBI's core values and culture
- Interpersonal and customer service skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Knowledge of residential construction building science
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to comprehend and interpret construction related documents
- General understanding of the order of operations in residential construction
- Strong time management skills with an ability to meet project deadlines
- Excellent organizational skills and incredible attention to detail
- Ability to prioritize and delegate tasks
- Thorough understanding of or the ability to quickly understand the project or project being developed
- Team player

Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
- Driving to client projects; requires sitting in a vehicle
- Must be able to lift up to 100 lbs as required when on job site
- Must be able to traverse and inspect all areas of the jobsite in all types of weather; this many include walking, climbing, bending, crawling, or stretching
- Exposure to characteristic construction site dangers
- Exposure to construction site characteristic noise levels which may be very loud at times
Compensation
- Standard full-time schedule, Monday-Friday, with occasional evenings/weekends as needed. W-2 employee position.
- Competitive salary range of $90,000 to $110,000 per year, based on experience.
