Job Description
- Lead and manage data modernization projects within wealth and asset management sectors, ensuring alignment with business goals and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate closely with data teams, technology partners, and business stakeholders to define project scope, schedules, and deliverables.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, tracking progress, risks, and mitigation strategies.
- Facilitate communication among cross-functional teams and provide regular updates to senior management and clients.
- Ensure quality control and validation of data migration and modernization activities.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices to enhance project outcomes.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory guidelines throughout the project lifecycle.
Requirements
- 7+ years of project management experience, preferably within wealth or asset management data modernization initiatives.
- Strong understanding of data management concepts, modernization strategies, and related technologies.
- Experience working with data migration, ETL processes, and data governance frameworks.
- Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies including Agile and Waterfall.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, capable of engaging senior executives and technical teams.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- PMP or equivalent project management certification is preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, IT, Business, or related field; advanced degree is a plus.
