Job Description

Project Manager – Doors & Hardware

Location: Borough ParkType: Full-TimeCompensation: $125k+ DOEPosition Summary We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee door and hardware projects from contract award through completion. This role is responsible for taking over projects from the estimating team, managing submittals and shop drawings, coordinating purchasing and shipping, and serving as the primary point of contact for customers, suppliers, and jobsite personnel.Key Responsibilities

  • Take over projects from the estimating team once contracts are awarded
  • Prepare, submit, and track complete and accurate submittals
  • Create and review shop drawings related to doors, frames, and hardware
  • Purchase doors, frames, and hardware in accordance with approved submittals
  • Ensure proper door and hardware detailing per project specifications
  • Manage projects from contract through completion
  • Coordinate and oversee shipping and delivery schedules
  • Communicate with customers, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure products ship according to project schedules
  • Serve as the main point of contact for all jobsite-related questions and issues
  • Resolve field issues in a timely and professional manner
  • Maintain organized project documentation and records
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management within the door and hardware industry
  • Strong knowledge of doors, frames, hardware, and detailing
  • Experience with submittals, shop drawings, and procurement
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
