Job Description
Job Description: We are looking for a Project Manager with 8-10 years of experience in leading and managing projects within the financial services industry. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of banking and capital markets, regulatory reporting, and data governance. As a Project Manager, you will oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of high-priority projects, ensuring they meet business goals, timelines, and quality standards. Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage the end-to-end project lifecycle, ensuring timely and successful project delivery in alignment with business objectives. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business stakeholders, developers, and subject matter experts, to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables. Oversee project progress, identify risks, and proactively manage issues to keep projects on track. Facilitate daily scrums, ensuring efficient communication and removal of obstacles to ensure smooth project execution. Develop and maintain project schedules, work plans, and resource allocation to meet deadlines. Create and manage JIRA dashboards for project tracking, status reporting, and team collaboration. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, data governance policies, and internal standards for banking and capital markets projects. Act as a liaison between business teams and technical teams to ensure requirements are clearly communicated and delivered. Communicate project status, risks, and issues to senior management and stakeholders in a clear and concise manner. Lead and mentor junior project management staff and ensure their professional growth. Skills & Qualifications: 8-10 years of Project Management experience, ideally in the financial services or banking sector. Strong understanding of banking, capital markets, and relevant regulatory requirements, including experience with regulatory reporting and data governance. Proven experience in running daily scrums and working in an Agile environment. Hands-on experience with JIRA for task tracking, project management, and dashboard creation. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams and senior leadership. Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple priorities and ensure project delivery on time and within scope. Knowledge of Axiom (Adenza) is a plus, but not mandatory. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
