Job Description

As a Project Managerat Ruhrpumpen you will be responsible to coordinate people and processes to ensure Type C complexity projects meet all scope requirements according to their contract and are delivered on time. You will be the go-to person for everything involving a project’s organization and timeline.

Main Responsibilities:

Plan and work with cross functional teams to finalize projects on time and in scope.
Evaluate the project’s health, understanding the issues and risks and create a plan to mitigate the risks - not just a tracker of issues, but a resolver.
Establish clear project goals, guiding what everyone needs to do in the most efficient way and drive accountability to complete each task.
Conduct project related meetings throughout the project cycle to ensure projects are on schedule, to identify any risks and discuss mitigation strategies with project leadership.
Utilize project management tools to develop project plans and monitor project milestones.
Identify and manage cost containment, scope creep, change orders and other overarching needs of the organization.
Manage communication flow with all project stakeholders, updating both the customer and project leadership.
Identify workflow improvement opportunities and facilitate change.
Ability to manage Type B and A complexity projects as skill and knowledge increase.

Requirements:

Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent (preferred), Technical Degree with 5 years’ experience
2 years of experience
