Project Manager
Lead High-Impact Civil Construction Projects
Schultz Construction is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead complex civil construction projects that shape communities across the Northeast. Based in Ballston Spa, NY, this role offers the opportunity to guide infrastructure projects from concept through completion while mentoring a talented team and driving operational excellence.

What You'll Do
As a Project Manager at Schultz Construction, you will oversee multiple projects and serve as the primary leader responsible for performance, quality, and client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage project budgets, schedules, and resource allocation plans
- Oversee procurement of materials, equipment, and subcontracted services
- Lead and coordinate Project Engineers, field crews, contractors, and subcontractors
- Ensure project milestones are achieved on time and within scope
- Conduct regular site visits and inspections to uphold quality and safety standards
- Communicate directly with clients, engineers, and government agencies to resolve challenges and maintain progress
- Monitor active and completed projects to identify cost efficiencies and process improvements
- Mentor and develop Project Engineers to strengthen team capability and leadership bench
What You Bring
We are seeking a construction professional with proven leadership experience and a strong technical foundation.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience as a Project Manager in construction or a related field
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel for managing project data and reporting
- Experience managing budgets, schedules, and multi-phase construction projects
- Strong communication and coordination skills across internal teams and external stakeholders
- High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple moving parts simultaneously
