Job Description
Skilled Trades Partners is currently seeking an experienced Project Manager for a respected commercial construction contractor based in Needham, MA. This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing organization and lead projects from preconstruction through completion.
The Project Manager will report directly to the Director of Construction and serve as a key liaison between the construction team and the client, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
Develop project-specific goals, schedules, budgets, and detailed assumptions upon project award
Coordinate due diligence efforts and maintain all project documentation
Build and manage detailed project budgets from estimating turnover through completion
Issue contracts and purchase orders
Serve as the primary senior-level contact for clients throughout the project lifecycle
Lead the design implementation process (conceptual through construction documentation and sign-off)
Develop and maintain project schedules
Attend and lead project meetings with internal teams and key stakeholders
Track project performance against budget and schedule
Identify and proactively address potential risks and liabilities
Mentor and support Assistant Project Managers
Coordinate with the Estimating team during preconstruction as needed
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Building Construction, Construction Management, or related field
5+ years of practical experience in the AEC industry
Proficiency in Procore required
Strong understanding of construction methods, commercial building codes, scheduling, and cost control
Self-motivated, organized, detail-oriented, and a collaborative team player
Ability to navigate active construction sites, including stairs and ladders
Additional Requirements
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Authorized to work in the United States
