Join Our Team as a Senior Commercial Framing & Drywall Project Manager!

Are you an experienced Project Manager with a strong background in commercial framing and drywall? Are you ready to take ownership of large, complex projects while helping build and develop a high-performing project team? We're looking for a talented Senior Project Manager to join a growing specialty subcontracting organization and make a significant impact.

If you are technically strong, detail-oriented, highly accountable, and capable of running projects independently from start to finish, we want to hear from you!

What You'll Do:

• Lead and manage large-scale commercial framing and drywall projects from preconstruction through completion.
• Take full ownership of project execution, including budgets, schedules, procurement, documentation, and profitability.
• Manage projects ranging from $10M+ and coordinate complex framing, drywall, and specialty assemblies.
• Work closely with General Contractors, architects, engineers, field teams, vendors, and subcontractors.
• Review plans, specifications, and construction details to identify potential issues and develop effective solutions.
• Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, material quantities, and project documentation.
• Monitor project costs and profitability throughout the project lifecycle.
• Ensure framing and drywall systems meet applicable specifications, fire ratings, life-safety requirements, and engineered-system requirements.
• Collaborate with Superintendents and field personnel to ensure projects are executed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to Project Managers and Assistant Project Managers.
• Help establish strong project processes and develop the next generation of project leadership.
• Maintain strong relationships with clients and project partners while protecting the company's financial interests.

What We're Looking For:

• Proven experience as a Project Manager within commercial framing, drywall, or specialty subcontracting.
• Experience managing large-scale commercial construction projects, preferably $10M+ in value.
• Strong knowledge of commercial framing and drywall systems, assemblies, and construction practices.
• Understanding of fire ratings, life-safety requirements, engineered systems, and technical construction documentation.
• Experience with project budgets, cost control, change orders, RFIs, submittals, and project profitability.
• Strong ability to read and interpret construction plans, specifications, and details.
• Highly organized and detail-oriented with a strong understanding of project financials.
• Self-motivated and capable of operating independently with minimal oversight.
• Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to delegate effectively and hold teams accountable.
• A strong work ethic and a hands-on approach to project management.
• Experience with On-Screen Takeoff, Bluebeam, Excel, and Microsoft Office is preferred.
• Ability and desire to mentor and develop less-experienced project management professionals.
