Project Manager - Mechanical Construction
Job Summary
Join a well-established mechanical contractor in the Monmouth County, NJ area as a Project Manager. In this role, you will lead mechanical construction projects from start to finish-ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards while building strong client relationships.
Key Responsibilities
Manage all phases of mechanical construction projectsCoordinate materials, equipment, and subcontractorsReview and interpret blueprints and contract documentsDevelop and maintain project schedulesTrack job costs, labor projections, and billingExecute change orders and manage project scopeLead meetings and communicate with clients and internal teamsIdentify and resolve project issues proactivelyOversee punch lists and project closeout processMentor Project Coordinators and Project Engineers
RequirementsBachelor"s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field5+ years of experience in mechanical contracting or construction project managementExperience handling large scale projects ($25 million +)Knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, piping, and sheet metal systemsProficiency with project management tools and Microsoft OfficeStrong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
PreferencesOSHA 30 certificationExperience working for a mechanical contractorFamiliarity with job costing and WIP reporting
