Project Manager
Location: D.C.Shift: Monday - Friday, 7am-5pmType: Direct Hire
About the company:Our client is a general contracting firm that specializes in commercial construction, renovations, historic restoration and multi-family residential projects in Washington, D.C., Maryland and Virginia.
Job description:The Project Manager will be responsible for all cost/schedule management, coordination/interface with the client and design team, the construction admin. responsibilities (RFIs, Submittal, Document Control, etc.)
Daily Responsibilities:
- Coordinate with the project Superintendent and the rest of the project team to oversee all construction activities from start to finish and ensure work is conducted in a safe and workmanlike manner
- Facilitate all project startup activities and preconstruction meetings
- Cost Management including all change orders, budget management/forecasting, payment applications, and invoice approval
- Schedule Management including participation in baseline schedule construction, schedule maintenance/updates, and development of fragnets and 'what if' schedules

- Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or relevant field
- Minimum 5 years of Project Management experience in Commercial and Multi-Family Construction
- Strong computer skills required
