Job Description
Project ManagerAs a Project Manager, you will join a reputable civil engineering firm based in Cary, NC, at the heart of the Research Triangle. You will work on diverse projects in land development, water resources, and environmental engineering for public and private clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in engineering design, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage projects efficiently from conception to completion.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the planning, design, and construction of utility water and wastewater systems for municipal, industrial, and private clients.
- Develop site layouts, grading plans, roadways, erosion control measures, and stormwater management systems.
- Prepare construction drawings, specifications, and project exhibits using AutoCAD or Civil 3D.
- Conduct engineering calculations to support project design and execution.
- Manage deadlines and budgets while maintaining project quality standards.
- Collaborate with team members and communicate directly with clients to ensure project goals are met.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a closely related field.
- PE is required.
- 4+ years of related experience. Preferably in land development, water resources or environmental engineering.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or similar design software.
- Demonstrated interest or experience in land development, water resources, or environmental engineering.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Valid driver's license (required).
