Job Description

TAT Technologies' Tulsa site serves as the company's Center of Excellence for heat transfer manufacturing, MRO, and OEM solutions. Supporting commercial, regional, and military aircraft worldwide, the site delivers advanced thermal management solutions that enhance aircraft performance, improve reliability, and ensure operational and mission readiness.

We are seeking a Project Manager with strong analytical and planning skills.  The project manager position is responsible for the management of internal or customer driven projects, with the goal of delivering every project on time, within budget, and meeting scope and quality requirements.  This role drives successful project execution ensuring production targets are met resulting in revenue growth for the business.

Responsibilities

  • Manage multiple projects of moderate complexity ensuring compliance with aerospace requirements for products
  • Oversee the full product lifecycle - from requirements definition, design trade studies, and 3D CAD development to reverse engineering, validation (PDR/CDR, DFMEA), and certification compliance (FAA/industry standards).
  • Design, communicate, and implement an operational plan for completing various projects throughout the year including the identification of milestones and risks
  • Assess and mitigate risks using various project management tools and internally developed tools
  • Understand customer requirements, applications, products, manufacturing process to complete project feasibility review
  • Coordinate technical and commercial reviews as needed to ensure project success
  • Ensure quality and delivery requirements are captured, communicated, and completed
  • Support shop floor as needed to fulfill project deliverables
  • Monitor progress and performance against the project plans
  • Resolve operational problems to minimize delays
  • Identify necessary resources to support project plans
  • Develop and maintain schedules, ensuring that actions and completed and targets are met.
  • Conduct project meetings and prepare reports to communicate the status of the project within and beyond the project team
  • Collaborate with operations to understand needs and help to identify solutions to production problems
  • Additional duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Bachelor of science in Engineering or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in Engineering or Project Management
  • U.S. citizenship or Green Card is required
  • Track record of exceeding targets, KPI’s, etc.
  • Demonstrate ability to motivate and communicate with others at all levels
  • Ability to adapt and succeed in a fast-paced challenging environment
  • Prior experience in project management and/or manufacturing projects
  • Excellent MS Office knowledge
  • Experience working within a Matrix organization with international reporting structure
  • Excellent verbal and written skills for client-facing and internal communication skills
  • Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills
  • Proficiency with 3D CAD tools (e.g. SolidWorks) and engineering documentation practices, understanding of FAA regulatory requirements and approved data processes is preferred.
  • Experience within Aerospace industry and/or MRO Industry is preferred
  • PMP certification or training preferred
