ABOUT THE ROLE

Destination America, a Destination Management Company within The Travel Corporation, supports exceptional travel experiences across North America. We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to support a significant strategic initiative with visibility across senior leadership and multiple business functions.

The initial focus of the role will be a complex international growth initiative involving business expansion into new markets and the establishment of new operational entities. Working closely with executive stakeholders, you will help translate strategic priorities into executable project plans while coordinating activities across operations, finance, legal, treasury, tax, banking, contracting, and external advisors.

This is a hands-on project management role requiring exceptional organization, stakeholder management, and follow-through. You'll be responsible for ensuring project activities remain aligned, visible, and progressing toward key milestones while navigating multiple regions, workstreams, and time zones.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, milestones, dependencies, and action trackers.
  • Coordinate activities across multiple workstreams, functions, and external partners.
  • Facilitate project meetings, workshops, governance forums, and decision-making processes.
  • Track risks, issues, dependencies, and mitigation plans, escalating concerns when appropriate.
  • Monitor project progress and proactively identify potential delivery challenges.
  • Prepare concise executive-level status reporting and project updates.
  • Maintain project documentation, decision logs, meeting records, and project controls.
  • Support implementation readiness, operational execution, and post-launch stabilization activities.

Requirements

ABOUT YOU

  • 3-5 years of project management, project coordination, or project delivery experience in a complex business environment.
  • Demonstrated experience managing cross-functional projects or strategic initiatives from planning through implementation.
  • Strong organizational, planning, and prioritization skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including preparation of project updates and status reports.
  • Experience coordinating multiple stakeholders, deliverables, and competing priorities.
  • Strong attention to detail and a disciplined approach to project tracking and documentation.
  • Confidence working with senior leaders and influencing progress across multiple teams.
  • Ability to work independently, anticipate challenges, and proactively identify solutions.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft 365 applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Teams, and Outlook.

Desirable

  • Experience working across international teams, regions, or time zones.
  • Experience using project management tools such as Monday.com, Smartsheet, Asana, or similar platforms.
  • PMP, PRINCE2, CAPM, or similar project management certification.
  • Experience in travel, tourism, hospitality, destination management, or other globally distributed organizations.
  • Exposure to business expansion, transformation, operational integration, or strategic growth initiatives.
