What you'll do
• Manage one or multiple civil site development projects for a diverse portfolio of public and private clients• Prepare and oversee the development of construction drawings for water, sewer, and storm drainage infrastructure• Develop project scopes, schedules, and budgets, and ensure successful delivery of projects• Lead proposal preparation and fee development efforts to support business growth• Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, and internal multidisciplinary teams• Visit client offices, job sites, and consultant locations to support project execution and business development• Oversee engineering work and ensure alignment with project objectives and company standards• Monitor project performance using Vantagepoint, Microsoft Project, or similar tools• Supervise, mentor, and develop engineers and technicians• Communicate project status, risks, and solutions effectively to clients and leadership
What you bring
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering• Professional Engineer (PE) license required• 15+ years of experience in civil engineering design and project management• Experience producing residential, commercial, and/or industrial site development plans• Extensive experience managing civil site development projects in a consulting environment• Strong understanding of civil site design, including water, sewer, and storm drainage systems• Working knowledge of AutoCAD, preferably Civil 3D• Strong written and verbal communication skills with a client-facing focus• Demonstrated business development experience and client relationship management• Strong leadership abilities with experience managing and mentoring teams• Understanding of business financial metrics and project performance• Proven ability to manage multiple complex assignments and appropriately prioritize workflow• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail• Excellent time management skills and ability to meet deadlines
