Job Description
The Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing multiple HVAC ductwork projects from pre-construction through completion. This role requires strong coordination with general contractors, mechanical contractors, field teams, and internal fabrication operations to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage all phases of assigned projects, including planning, execution, and closeout
- Review project plans, specifications, and contracts
- Coordinate with estimating, detailing, and fabrication teams
- Develop and maintain project schedules
- Track project costs, budgets, and change orders
- Communicate regularly with clients, contractors, and internal teams
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and company procedures
- Resolve project issues proactively and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders
Qualifications:
- Experience in construction project management (HVAC, mechanical, or sheet metal preferred)
- Strong understanding of commercial construction processes
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
- Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Preferred Experience:
- Background in HVAC or mechanical contracting
- Experience working with union labor environments
- Familiarity with fabrication and field installation coordination
