Position Overview

As the Project Manager, youll take charge of multiple high-profile engineering projects delivering them on time, within budget, and above expectations. Key Responsibilities

1. End-to-End Project Management

- Take ownership of projects from initiation to completion, ensuring alignment with client goals and company standards.

- Develop, monitor, and maintain detailed project timelines, deliverables, and budgets.

- Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, procurement, and finance, to ensure seamless project execution.

- Track project milestones and proactively manage risks to ensure projects stay on course.

2. Client Relationship Management & Communication

- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring their needs are met at every stage of the project.

- Regularly update stakeholders with project status reports, timelines, and key deliverables.

- Build lasting relationships with clients, vendors, and subcontractors to foster long-term partnerships.

- Lead project meetings with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring everyone is aligned and on the same page.

3. Leadership & Team Development

- Mentor and lead project teams, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.

- Inspire teams to perform at their best by setting clear goals and offering ongoing feedback and support.

- Manage resource allocation effectively, ensuring that the right people are working on the right tasks at the right time.

- Motivate the team to embrace challenges and celebrate wins, fostering a positive and energetic work environment.

4. Budget, Risk, and Quality Control

- Establish and manage budgets, tracking expenses against forecasts to ensure profitability.

- Develop and implement risk management strategies to identify and mitigate potential project risks.

- Ensure all projects meet the highest quality standards, complying with industry regulations and client expectations.

5. Continuous Improvement & Innovation

- Identify areas for process improvement and implement innovative strategies to enhance project outcomes.

- Stay ahead of industry trends, tools, and best practices to ensure Zephyrus Engineering remains at the cutting edge.

- Contribute to the development of project management frameworks and templates for future projects.

What Were Looking For

-  Education: Bachelors degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business, or a related field. A Masters degree or PMP certification is a plus.

- Experience: 5+ years of experience in project management, ideally in engineering, construction, or a related industry.

- Skills & Competencies:

- Exceptional Leadership: Proven experience in leading cross-disciplinary teams to successful project completion.

- Communication Pro: Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex topics.

- Tech-Savvy: Proficient in project management tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, Asana, or Primavera) and Microsoft Office Suite.

- Problem Solver: Ability to anticipate challenges and offer creative solutions on the fly.

- Detail-Oriented: Precision in managing budgets, timelines, and deliverables without losing sight of the bigger picture.

- Client-Focused: A knack for building relationships and delivering projects that delight clients.

- Adaptable: Thrives in a dynamic environment with shifting priorities.
