We are seeking a Permanent Project Manager for Commercial Healthcare TI Construction who is eager to lead and manage complex healthcare construction projects. This role is perfect for a dynamic individual with a strong background in healthcare construction, who is passionate about overseeing projects from conception to completion. You will be responsible for managing all aspects of construction projects, including but not limited to, budgeting, scheduling, and client relations. This role demands a high level of responsibility, but also offers immense opportunities for professional growth and development within the construction industry.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage all aspects of healthcare construction projects, including budgeting, scheduling, and client relations.
- Ensure all projects are delivered on-time, within scope, and within budget.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans to monitor and track progress.
- Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects.
- Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs using appropriate verification techniques.
- Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques.
- Report and escalate to management as needed.
- Perform risk management to minimize project risks.
- Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors.
- Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in a project management role in the construction industry, specifically in healthcare construction.
- Proven working experience in project management in the construction sector.
- Solid technical background, with understanding or hands-on experience in construction and healthcare projects.
- Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus.
- Experience with OSHPD, HCAI, Healthcare, Hospital, Class A, Commercial Office or equivalent is required.
