Construction Project Manager – Renovations (Full-Time)

re:fab is a fast-growing painting and renovation company serving commercial and residential projects throughout the east coast and into Florida. We pride ourselves on delivering quality work, moving quickly, and holding ourselves accountable—while maintaining respect for our people and partners.
We're seeking a Construction Project Manager to join our Renovations team. This role is ideal for someone early to mid-career who is motivated, organized, adaptable, and willing to travel to get the job done right.
What You'll Be Doing
Project Execution & Oversight
- Manage projects from award through closeout
- Conduct site inspections and document existing conditions
- Coordinate schedules, subcontractors, materials, and vendors
- Track budgets, timelines, and overall project progress
- Review plans, scopes, contracts, change orders, and reports
Estimating & Pre-Construction
- Perform takeoffs from plans and field conditions
- Assist with estimates using Xactimate, QuickBid, Bluebeam, or similar tools
- Collect and evaluate subcontractor pricing
- Support value engineering and cost-saving opportunities
Communication & Teamwork
- Collaborate with Operations, Estimating, and Field teams
- Communicate effectively with subcontractors, vendors, and stakeholders
- Proactively report project status, risks, and solutions
What We're Looking For
Required
- Strong work ethic and willingness to travel
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
Preferred (Not Required)
- Experience in construction, renovations, painting, or related trades
- Familiarity with estimating tools (Xactimate, QuickBid, Stack, Bluebeam, etc.)
- Understanding of construction drawings, scheduling, and basic building codes
Travel Requirement
- Regular travel throughout New England, with occasional travel beyond the region
- Overnight stays required based on project needs
· Candidates must be able to travel on short notice when required by project timelines.

Reporting Structure
Reports directly to the Director of Renovations and works closely with the Operations team.
