Project Manager Nuclear Facilities

Location: Los Alamos, NM | 100% Onsite

Compensation: $58-64

Schedule: 4/10s with anticipated overtime

Duration: 1 year with extensions up to 5 years

Citizenship: U.S. Citizenship Required

Clearance: Q-Cleared candidates preferred | Must be able to obtain Q Clearance | Long-term commitment required

WHY THIS ROLE

LANL is seeking experienced Construction Project Managers and Superintendents for TA-55 - a high-security nuclear environment supporting critical federal missions. 40 openings with a program duration of up to 5 years.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Serve as Control Account Manager for scope, cost, and schedule for assigned construction work packages
Lead construction crews and subcontractors during active work phases at TA-55
Develop and maintain EVMS-compliant cost and schedule baselines
Coordinate with engineering, QA, safety, and nuclear facility operations personnel
Lead daily coordination meetings and pre-job briefings
Physically able to lift 50+ lbs, walk stairs, and stand for extended periods
Available for all shifts including graveyard as required by operational tempo

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum 10 years of nuclear worker experience - top hiring priority
A-Level Access eligibility required
S. Citizenship with ability to obtain DOE Q Clearance - long-term commitment required

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Active DOE Q Clearance
DOE, nuclear, or NNSA facility construction management experience
Control Account Manager or EVMS experience

MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS - READ BEFORE APPLYING

Must have minimum 10 years of nuclear worker experience - no exceptions
A-Level Access eligibility required - candidates without this cannot be considered
Must work 100% onsite at TA-55 in Los Alamos, NM
Must be available for all shifts including graveyard - graveyard shift refusal is disqualifying
