Job Summary
The Project Quality Manager is responsible for implementing, managing, and maintaining the Quality Assurance and Quality Control program for large-scale industrial projects. This role ensures all work complies with design specifications, customer requirements, industry codes, and company standards. The Project Quality Manager will lead a team of QAQC Technicians and coordinate closely with project management, field operations, commissioning teams, and clients to drive a culture of quality, accountability, and continuous improvement across the project lifecycle.
Essential Job Responsibilities
- Lead and improve quality management processes and systems, while training and leading employees and construction partners in the implementation and execution of Program, QC reports, QC metrics, project site inspections and related project support duties.
- Manage projects and teams, from inception to completion, in a variety of enclosure-related projects - in both new and existing construction.
- Management of client services, communicating progress, reporting, technical discussion of findings, recommendations, and project close-out.
- Support the project Leadership Team with the proper development of the Project Quality Execution Plan (PQEP) and the client-facing Project Quality Plan (PQP), when required.
- Perform Root Cause Analysis reporting for high tier quality failure issues. Provide solutions to correct failed systems.
- Track QA/QC metrics including, but not limited to: rework cost, rework time, non-compliance work response time, and other similar metrics.
- Participate in Submittal & RFI reviews when needed.
- Ensures a Safe Work Environment.
- Travel up to 10% with ability to work in the field and to travel outside local area as workload and projects require.
Minimum Qualifications
Required:
- 5 to 10 years of experience in High Voltage Power, Pipeline, Underground Civil and/or Gas utility construction
- Experience developing and implementing construction quality management programs in the Heavy Industrial, Power, OGC or Water markets.
- Detailed knowledge of building and infrastructure construction management procedures, contract management, inspection practices and procedures.
- Working knowledge of construction industry codes, standards, and jurisdictional requirements (ACI, AWS, ASTM, ASME, NEC, etc.)
- Strong technical knowledge in building systems with special expertise in building envelope systems.
- Computer skills including software that supports QA/QC efforts such as Procore, Bluebeam, BIM 360, Excel, Word, AutoCAD, Revit, and Outlook.
Preferred:
- Professional certifications in Quality Management, Auditing, and/or Project Management.
- Cement and concrete experience, ACI field grade 1 certification.
- Field installation background, specifically with moisture and air barriers, building skin, envelope, waterproofing, sealants, penetrations, and openings.

Work Environment:
- Indoor office setting with controlled temperature.
- Outdoor industrial sites with exposure to noise, dust, chemicals, extreme weather, uneven terrain, or other environmental factors.
- Fabrication shop with exposure to noise, dust, chemicals, or other environmental factors.
- Travel requirements: up to 10% of time
