- Keep loading areas, walkways and access routes safe and clear, including snow and ice removal in winter
- Handle routine housekeeping and basic equipment maintenance within your training and authorization
- Follow PPE, hazard communication (HazCom), lockout/tagout and emergency procedures. Stop work and report unsafe conditions promptly.
- Respond to call-outs as assigned under the terminal's on-call schedule

Certifications and Training
- Vermont LP-gas certification from the Vermont Division of Fire Safety, for the duties you are assigned. You must hold it, or obtain it, before you perform any work that requires certification.
- Applicable DOT hazardous materials (hazmat employee) training and site-specific safety training, completed before you work independently in covered duties
- Propane Education & Research Council (PERC) Education Program (PEP) training covering propane fundamentals, bulk plant operations and railcar unloading, or completion of the National Propane Gas Association's Certified Employee Training Program (CETP).
