If so, you could be the full-time Property Maintenance Tech we're looking for at Davis Conference Center! Must-Haves:
- Experience operating forklifts
- Physical ability to lift 50+ pounds, climb ladders, work at heights, and work outdoors in all kinds of weather conditions (wind, rain, heat, cold, etc.)
- Ability to follow work orders and safety procedures
- Strong verbal and written English communication skills
- Team spirit and an ability to coordinate with coworkers and vendors
- Sharp attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Customer service mindset
- Hotel or commercial building maintenance experience - preferred
- Some HVAC knowledge/experience - preferred
Property Maintenance Tech Responsibilities:
- Coordinating with your team and following instructions from the chief to complete accurate, efficient, and compliant repairs and maintenance services
- Troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing systems around the building and grounds, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems
- Completing quality carpentry, painting, flooring, and patching services
- Assisting with construction, installations, equipment maintenance, and general building repairs
- Closely following work orders, OSHA safety standards, and security policies
- Professionally communicating with guests, coworkers, and vendors
- Participating in preventative and reactive maintenance programs
