About the Role:

To assure cleanliness of the loading dock and delivery truck entrance, including both the bottom and elevated cement areas of dock flooring, entrances, and corridors. Maintains cleanliness of pool deck including trash bins.

Essential Functions:

• Assists in maintaining the cleanliness of the pool deck and utilizes the floor machine and pressure washes when necessary.
• Empties pool deck trash cans consistently into the designated dumpsters to maintain the cleanliness of our pool deck..
• Sweeps and maintains the cleanliness of the loading dock, including separating cardboard boxes and other materials left at the loading dock.

Job Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

The individual must possess the following knowledge, skills and abilities and be able to explain and demonstrate that he or she can perform the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation, using some other combination of skills and abilities.

• Ability to lift, bend, stoop, walk, push, or pull heavy equipment, and stand for extended periods of time.  Lifting may include equipment or furniture weighing up to 100 lbs.
• Ability to comprehend and follow instructions from Supervisor.
• Ability to learn and apply Hazardous Chemical and Performance for Excellence Training standards during new hire introductory period.
• Basic ability to comprehend English language sufficient to understand and communicate information for reasons such as safety and security, including product safety labels and emergency instructions.

Qualifications:

Education:

Any combination of education and experience equivalent that provides the required, knowledge, skills, and abilities.

Experience:

Preferred previous sanitation experience. Previous sanitation experience preferred.

Licenses and Certificates:

Ability to obtain any government required licenses or certificates
