Job Description
Job Title: Protestant Director of Religious Education (DRE)Location: Naval Base Guam Chapel, Building 1984, Naval Base GuamEstimated Workload: Up to 20 hours per weekKey Responsibilities:
Develop and implement a comprehensive Protestant Religious Education (RE) program.
Plan and organize children's church activities, youth formation programs, and small group religious education initiatives.
Identify and coordinate religious education curriculum and submit program plans for review.
Recruit, screen, train, and supervise volunteers supporting religious education programs.
Plan and coordinate religious education events and special seasonal activities (e.g., Vacation Bible School, holiday programs).
Maintain program documentation including schedules, rosters, and event records.
Coordinate facility reservations and chapel space required for program activities.
Attend meetings related to the chapel religious education program and maintain communication with chapel leadership.
Required Qualifications
Minimum two years of experience in religious education or church/chapel leadership.
Knowledge of Protestant Christian Bible literacy, biblical narratives, and religious instruction.
High school diploma or equivalent with educational or teaching experience.
Letter of good standing from a Protestant church authority.
