PROTESTANT MUSIC DIRECTOR - Tyndall Air Force Base, Florida
• Location: Tyndall Air Force Base, Florida• Start Date: Immediate• Compensation: $150-$175 per week (based on experience and qualifications)• Service Commitment: Approximately 2-2.5 hours per week, including rehearsal, preparation, and worship service support.
Adams1and1 Consulting Services, LLC is seeking a qualified Protestant Music Director to support the Protestant worship community at Tyndall Air Force Base. The selected candidate will provide musical leadership for weekly worship services, rehearsals, special religious observances, and praise team activities.
Key Responsibilities:• Plan, organize, and lead weekly Protestant worship music.• Coordinate music selections with the Protestant Chaplain.• Lead rehearsals and distribute music to volunteers at least 72 hours prior to rehearsal.• Lead the congregation and praise team vocally and instrumentally.• Support special services and religious events throughout the year.• Arrive prior to rehearsals and services to ensure readiness and professionalism.
Minimum Qualifications:• Minimum three years of college-level education in music, desired or qualified professional experience.• At least two years of congregational worship leadership experience.• Proficiency in piano and/or guitar, including sight-reading, arranging, improvisation, and accompaniment.• Ability to sing and lead congregational worship.• Knowledge of traditional hymns and contemporary praise and worship music.• Ability to build positive relationships with volunteers, chapel staff, and congregants.• Mature Christian with a demonstrated personal relationship with God.• Professional references may be requested.
Selection Process:Candidates must successfully complete an interview and audition with Chapel Staff prior to start date.
