Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and direct weekly rehearsals and worship services, including special events (e.g., holidays, memorials, funerals)
- Provide vocal leadership and guide the congregation in worship
- Select and arrange music in coordination with the Chaplain
- Deliver opening remarks and prayers aligned with Protestant traditions
- Prepare and provide music scores, arrangements, and audio/visual lyrics
Qualifications
Education & Experience
- Minimum of 4 years of college-level education in music or equivalent experience
- At least 4 years of experience leading worship teams or bands in a church setting
Skills & Abilities
- Strong vocal ability and experience leading congregational worship
- Proficiency in sight-reading, arranging, and performing music
- Ability to lead a contemporary Protestant praise team
- Strong organizational and leadership skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
