Overview
We are seeking a Prototype Test Engineer to join a leading medical device innovation company in Manchester, NH. In this role, you will support engineering teams in a dynamic R&D environment focused on biological and electromechanical systems. You will play a key role in testing, data collection, and analysis of prototype devices that contribute to life-changing technologies. This is a hands-on opportunity to work closely with engineers in developing and validating next-generation medical products.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and execute test procedures for prototype devices
- Report test results and findings to engineering teams
- Assist in analysis of collected data
- Document and investigate observations made during testing
- Support engineering investigations and problem-solving efforts
- Design and build test articles and test fixtures
- Perform mechanical and electrical assembly as needed
- Operate and monitor mechanical testing equipment
- Maintain accurate documentation of all testing activities
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical preferred) — 2026 grads considered
- Hands-on experience with mechanical equipment and testing environments
- Experience with mechanical and/or electrical assembly
- Ability to run, document, and analyze tests
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel
- Experience analyzing technical data
- Laboratory experience documenting experiments
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Self-motivated with strong prioritization skills
