AdvisaCare is currently seeking a compassionate and experienced Psych Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. As a Psych RN, you will provide care and support to patients with psychiatric and mental health conditions.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' mental health needs
- Develop individualized care plans and treatment goals
- Administer medications and monitor patients' response to treatment
- Provide counseling and psychoeducation to patients and their families
- Coordinate care with other healthcare professionals
- Document patient progress and maintain accurate medical records
- Oasis Experience Preferred by Not Required
Requirements
Requirements:
- Current Michigan Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Must have 1 year experience in psychiatric nursing
- Strong knowledge of psychiatric medications and treatment modalities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Compassionate and nonjudgmental approach to patient care
- Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings and weekends
