Join Our Team as a Psych Tech 1 - ABH - Pennsylvania and Make a Meaningful Difference in Mental Health CareWe are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Psych Tech 1 to become an integral part of our mental health treatment team. This role offers a unique opportunity to work in a structured environment dedicated to stabilizing individuals with serious mental illness and preparing them for successful community reintegration. High School diploma or equivalent
Minimum of 6 months experience in mental health or a related field
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
Compassionate, patient, and able to handle sensitive situations with professionalism
Basic understanding of psychiatric conditions and therapeutic approaches

Nice to Have Skills

CPR and First Aid certification
Experience with group therapy or individual counseling
Knowledge of state-specific mental health regulations
Bilingual abilities that can aid diverse patient populations

Preferred Education and Experience

High School diploma or equivalent required
At least 6 months of relevant mental health experience preferred; additional education in psychology, social work, or related fields is advantageous

Other Requirements

Valid certification in CPR and First Aid is a plus
Willingness to work in a structured residential care environment
Ability to follow safety protocols and maintain patient confidentiality
This position does not require extensive travel
Compensation includes competitive hourly pay rate, with benefits such as weekly direct deposit pay, comprehensive medical coverage, paid sick time per applicable laws, and opportunities for licensure, certification, travel, and other reimbursements where applicable
