About the Clinician's WorkdayThe psychiatric physician associate will deliver comprehensive outpatient psychiatric care for adults requiring mental health and substance use treatment across two specialized locations. Clinical duties include conducting thorough psychiatric evaluations, developing individualized treatment plans, and managing psychotropic medications while working Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 8AM-4PM at the outpatient behavioral health clinic, and Tuesday and Thursday from 7AM-3PM at the treatment center. The clinician will see 8-12 patients per day, maintaining detailed documentation and collaborating with nursing staff and multidisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated care delivery throughout both the behavioral health clinic and residential treatment environments.
