Registered Nurse - Psychiatric Unit
Location: Waterloo, IA

Pay: $1740 - $2096 | Shift: 3x12 Nights

As a Registered Nurse in the Psychiatric Unit, you'll play a vital role in providing exceptional care to patients aged 18 and older. Your expertise in psychiatric and behavioral health will be crucial in supporting patients through their mental health journeys. - Provide comprehensive nursing care to adult and geriatric patients in a psychiatric setting
- Utilize EPIC EMR for accurate and efficient documentation
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Ensure patient safety and comfort through effective de-escalation techniques
- Maintain compliance with all healthcare regulations and standards
- Need 2 years experience in setting
- COVID-19 vaccine (medical and religious exemptions may apply)
- Active Iowa or compact/multistate RN license
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Experience with de-escalation techniques (MAB, CPI, MOAB, or SAMA preferred)
