Role Overview

We are seeking a Board-Certified Psychiatrist (MD/DO) who operates their own clinic or private practice to collaborate with our team as a Supervising Physician for Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners (PMHNPs) serving assisted living communities.

This role is ideal for psychiatrists who already have an established outpatient clinic and are interested in expanding their professional collaboration while supporting psychiatric care for seniors.

Responsibilities

Serve as Supervising / Collaborating Psychiatrist for PMHNPs
Provide clinical oversight and consultation
Conduct patient evaluations and provide psychiatric care as needed
Participate in case reviews and chart discussions
Support high-quality psychiatric care in assisted living communities
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements for NP supervision

Requirements

MD or DO with active California medical license
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry
Must operate their own clinic or psychiatric practice
Medicare credentialing preferred
Active DEA license
Experience working with or supervising Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners
