Location: Pittsburgh, PADuration: April 1-24Reason for coverage: Provider on leaveSchedule: Monday Friday and two weekendsShift: 24 hourCall: yesPatient volume: 10-20 patients per day. Some days there is only 2 hours of work, some days there are 8 hours of work, but doctor needs to be on call in case a consult presents. Patient can hold until the morning to be rounded on. Internal Medicine hospitalist group takes care of the patients medical needs and history and physicalsScope: Inpatient rounding with nurse practitioner, 18 and upEMR: Accussis (not well known, but able to give online orientation prior to starting)Hospital: stand along Behavioral Health HospitalGroup/support: Group has been doing telepsychiatry for 2 years well equipped.Other psychiatrist, behavioral health team, NPs, IMsRequirements (boards, license): Board certified or board eligible if recently trained or recently lapsed, Pennsylvania license and DEA at time of application
