Join Our Team as a Psychiatry Physician Make a Difference in Mental Health Care!Are you a compassionate and dedicated Psychiatry Physician looking to contribute to meaningful patient care in a supportive hospital environment? We are seeking a skilled professional to provide expert mental health services during a vital maternity leave coverage period. This is a fantastic opportunity to utilize your expertise, work with a dynamic team, and make a positive impact on adult patients' lives.What You Will Do:

Deliver exceptional psychiatric care to adult patients in a hospital setting
Conduct medication checks and therapy sessions, ensuring comprehensive treatment
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes
Manage a manageable patient load of 11-16 patients per day
Operate within an EMR system (Cerner) for efficient documentation

Required Skills:

Board Certification in Psychiatry
State medical license (WV license preferred or eligible for WV temporary license)
DEA registration (to be confirmed)
Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience
Strong assessment and medication management skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Ability to work Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM 5:00 PM

Nice to Have Skills:

Experience with therapy integration
Familiarity with hospital-based psychiatric care
Additional certifications in mental health or related fields

Preferred Education and Experience:

MD or DO degree with board certification in Psychiatry
At least 1 year of post-residency clinical experience in a hospital setting

Other Requirements:

Willing to obtain necessary licensure and DEA registration
Credentialing timeframe of approximately 60 days
Flexibility to work during a 3-month contract period
Travel and licensure reimbursements as applicable
