• Provide comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and treatment for adult patients
• Conduct medication checks and therapy sessions as required
• Collaborate with hospital staff to support patient care plans
• Manage an outpatient caseload of approximately 11-16 patients daily
• Utilize Cerner electronic medical records to document and coordinate care

Required Skills:

• Board Certification in Psychiatry
• Valid state medical license
• At least 1 year of clinical experience in psychiatric care
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a fast-paced hospital environment
• Proficiency with medication management and therapy procedures

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience with inpatient and outpatient psychiatric settings
• Familiarity with Cerner EMR system
• Additional certifications in psychiatry or mental health

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited institution
• Minimum of 1 year of relevant clinical experience in psychiatry

Other Requirements:

• Willingness to obtain or hold a state license (preferably IMLC or WV temporary license)
• DEA registration (in progress or obtainable)
• Ability to commit to a 3-month contract starting July 1, 2026
• Certification in Med Checks and therapy preferred
