Psychologist (PSY)

Location: York, PA

Contract Type: Travel

Duration: 8 weeks

Shift: 5×8 Days (Flexible between 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM)

Pay: $3040/week

Job Description

ATC Healthcare is seeking a licensed Psychologist (PSY) for an 8-week travel assignment in York, PA. This daytime role offers a consistent Monday–Friday schedule with flexible hours within the facility’s operating window.

The psychologist will work as part of an interdisciplinary behavioral health team alongside a psychiatrist and counselors/social workers, supporting the mental health needs of an incarcerated population in a structured correctional healthcare setting.

Key Responsibilities

Provide psychological assessments, evaluations, and therapeutic services
Manage and support a shared patient caseload in collaboration with psychiatry and counseling staff
Deliver individual mental health counseling and treatment planning
Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and care coordination
Maintain accurate clinical documentation in compliance with facility and regulatory standards
Support patient safety, ethical care, and professional best practices

Qualifications

Licensed Psychologist eligible to practice in Pennsylvania
Minimum 1+ year of experience required
Experience in correctional, forensic, or institutional settings preferred
Strong clinical judgment, communication, and documentation skills
