Job Description
The Psychologist provides comprehensive behavioral health services to patients and clients across Brook Lane's continuum of care. This role includes psychiatric/psychological testing, clinical care delivery consistent with privileging standards, leadership in multidisciplinary treatment planning, and supervision of assigned clinical staff. To provide comprehensive behavioral health services to patients and clients of Brook Lane.
What You'll Do
Complete psychiatric/psychological testing and related evaluations
Provide comprehensive psychological care aligned with Brook Lane's credentialing/privileging process
Provide leadership and collaborate with a multidisciplinary treatment team
Supervise assigned clinical staff and provide consultation within your area(s) of expertise
Participate in peer review and continuous process improvement projects
Attend and actively participate in Medical Staff, committee, and treatment team meetings as required
Maintain accurate and timely documentation per Brook Lane policy
Present at community education programs as requested
Support patient care across inpatient, PHP, and outpatient services as needed
Perform other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
Doctoral degree (PhD or PsyD) from an accredited academic program
Current, valid license to practice psychology in Maryland
Successful completion of post-graduate training, including work with child and adolescent populations
Strong verbal and written English communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
Documented continuing education and experience serving specialized populations
Membership in professional associations
For admitting Psychologists: Board certification in child & adolescent psychology preferred
