Job Description

STRONG INTERAL CANDIDATE IDENTIFIED JOB SUMMARY: The Psychologist is responsible for the clinical oversight, quality assurance, and interpretation of Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule (ADOS) assessments, as well as broader developmental, cognitive and psychological testing. This role ensures that all evaluations meet best-practice standards, adhere to ethical guidelines, and support accurate diagnostic decision-making for children, adolescents and/or adults as applicable. The Psychologist will work collaboratively with the Clinical Director of the agency on these initiatives and activities.ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
  1. Provide ADOS oversight, including:
    1. Review and interpret assessment results, scores, and provide clinical guidance to evaluators.
    2. Integrate findings into clear, actionable clinical notes and/or reports.
    3. Ensure fidelity to standardized administration procedures.
  2. As indicated or clinically applicable, oversee the administration and interpretation of developmental assessments and psychological evaluations.
  3. Provide clinical consultation, including offering case consultation to interdisciplinary teams, participating in diagnostic meetings, as well as communicating findings to families and providers when applicable.
  4. As applicable, provide training on ADOS administration, developmental testing, and psychological assessment procedures.
OTHER DUTIES:
  1. All required trainings, certifications and licensure must be kept current in accordance with applicable licensing and accreditation regulations and standards.
  2. Respect the privacy of consumers and hold in confidence all information obtained during the client’s treatment. All client-related documents should be handled in accordance with Agency guidelines on confidential material.
  3. Maintain high standards of ethical and professional conduct and adhere to Agency policies and procedures.
  4. Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
  1. Education:  Minimum Doctorate Degree in Clinical Psychology or related field
Completion of an APA approved internship in Clinical Psychology
  1. Licensure:  Valid Ohio Psychology license required
  2. Skills:

  5. Professional & Ethical Conduct: Adhere to professional values such as honesty, personal responsibility, and accountability; Applies ethical concepts within scope of work and adheres to Agency policies and procedures.
  6. Collaboration and Teamwork: Function effectively as a member of a professional team that includes employees, clients and family members.
  7. Problem Solving & Decision Making: Recognize problems and respond appropriately; gather information and sort through it to identify and address root cause issues; make timely decisions.
  8. Service Orientation: Anticipate, recognize, and meet the needs of others, whether they are clients or not.
  9. Technical Proficiency: Demonstrate competence in utilizing Agency computer systems and software as required to perform essential job functions.
  10. Knowledge of diagnostic assessment, treatment planning, family systems, systems and methods in family therapy.
  1. Experience: Experience working with individuals with autism and their families
