Topeka. KS
Schedule: PT
Scheduling Details: 1 day/every 2 weeks; 8am-4pm
Location: In-Person (Location*/ Remote Telehealth as needed)

About the Role
We are seeking dedicated Licensed Psychologists and Board-Certified Psychiatrists to perform one-time, non-treatment Compensation & Pension (C&P) disability evaluations for U.S. Veterans.
In this role, you will review medical histories, conduct in-person evaluations (with potential telehealth opportunities), and complete electronic Disability Benefits Questionnaires (DBQs). There is no ongoing treatment, therapy, or prescribing involved.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities
- Review Veteran medical records, service history, and prior exam documentation.
- Conduct non-treatment behavioral health evaluations and complete DBQs/Medical Opinions using an electronic portal.
- Explain the evaluation process to Veterans and accurately capture exam findings.
- Submit completed exam charts within 24–48 hours post-assessment.
- Administer and interpret psychological testing as required.
Qualifications
- Psychologists: Ph.D. or Psy.D. from an APA-accredited program with a focus on adult populations (Clinical, Counseling, or School Psychology).
- Psychiatrists: MD/DO with Board Certification or completion of a 2-year specialty residency.
- Active, unrestricted U.S. state professional license.
- Strong computer proficiency and comfort with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems.
- Excellent time management, critical thinking, and written communication skills.
Preferred Experience
- Prior experience conducting VA or C&P disability evaluations.
- Strong background in clinical assessment.
