Job Description

Licensed School Psychologist (Part-Time/Contract/1099) – LCSD

Location: Troy, NY

Start Date: ASAP

Schedule: 2 days/week (flexible) from 8 am - 3 pm : 30 minute lunch

Compensation: $100/hour

Lansingburgh Central School District is seeking a qualified Psychologist to support student mental health and wellness across all grade levels, from Pre-K through high school.

Position Overview:The provider will be responsible for coordinating and delivering a range of school mental health services, including:

Conducting developmental assessments and examining emotional well-being
Reviewing student mental health records and documentation
Developing and maintaining standing orders and mental health protocols
Consulting with school nurses and the Committee on Special Education
Addressing student mental health concerns and providing guidance

This part-time position requires a daily commitment of approximately 7 hours per day.

Qualifications:

Licensed to practice in New York State
Experience in school health, adolescents, or a related field is preferred
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to collaborate effectively with school staff and administration
