Hourly Pay Rate: $120.00

What Youll Do

Conduct psychological screenings and assessments based on clinical interviews and reviews of records
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary mental health team including psychiatrists, nurses, and social workers
Develop, implement, and modify individualized treatment plans for inmates
Make rounds in confinement areas to assess inmate adjustment and mental health needs
Provide mental health evaluations, counseling, and crisis interventions
Consult with medical, security, and other staff to understand inmate behavior and monitor mental health status

What You Need

Valid psychology license or board eligibility
BLS certification (meeting CoreCivic requirements) or pending attestation
At least 1 year of relevant experience preferred
Strong clinical assessment, communication, and collaboration skills

About the Assignment This role involves providing professional mental health services to inmates within a secure correctional facility. The Psychologist will work as part of a dedicated team, ensuring timely assessments and effective treatment while maintaining a safe environment.
