What You’ll Do

• Conduct psychological screenings and assessments using available records and clinical interviews.
• Provide mental health treatment by developing, implementing, and updating individual treatment plans based on patient needs and level of functioning.
• Collaborate with the broader mental health team (e.g., psychiatry, nursing, social work, physicians, educational and chaplain services) to ensure care is well integrated and follow-through occurs.
• Make regular rounds in segregation or other confined housing areas to assess adjustment and treatment needs.
• Deliver counseling and crisis-focused interventions, including support for individuals experiencing behavioral health escalation.
• Consult with relevant stakeholders (as applicable) to understand and respond to changes in mental health condition and escalation of behavior.
